Peter is one of those lucky people who absolutely loves what he does. We wanted to convey that in the resume and so we used a direct quote from him in the resume header.
He’s an incredibly creative guy but we wanted to go further than just showing that, so we worked with him to identify the revenue associated with his designs. Many designers don’t have this information and that’s such a shame.
If you’re in this situation, start collecting the information on results before you need to write a resume. And make a point of doing it through your career. Ask your managers or clients for the information – most will be happy to share and if they’re not, you didn’t lose anything by asking.
