Our goal here was to show that Christine had handled all of the work a corporate PR person would need to handle and in some ways had even better experience – especially in the realm of crisis management.

Notice that in the introduction we focus very little on the fact that she works in law enforcement and instead focus on things that would matter to any company looking for a PR Manager.

If her goal had been to stay in the same field, we would have done this very differently. As always, the audience is key to the resume strategy.
