Louise Fletcher Bio

As the co-founder and President of Blue Sky Resumes, my mission is to help people take charge of their job search, build confidence and advance their careers.

When I'm not creating resumes, letters and online portfolios, I look for new ways to share my knowledge of resume writing, job search and career development and this blog is the latest manifestation of this desire to help job seekers.

I am a Certified Professional Resume Writer (CPRW) and an active member of the Professional Association of Resume Writers (PARW), the National Resume Writers Association (NRWA) and the Career Masters Institute. Prior to starting Blue Sky, I spent 15 years in senior HR roles in a variety of industries including music, advertising, retail, fashion and video game development. During this time, I managed the recruitment and selection of employees at all levels, from entry-level to President, and I now use my inside knowledge of the hiring process to give my clients the edge.

I am a frequent contributor to job search publications such as Monster.com, The Ladders, Net-Temps, Job Bank USA and Employment Spot, and my work is featured in numerous resume books, including the JISTworks "Expert Resume" series. I am proud that Blue Sky Resumes has become a recognized leader in the careers industry as evidenced by our affiliations with organizations such as The Ladders Gamasutra and The Rockport Institute one of the country's leading career counseling companies.
